Growing up in South Florida, I loved to draw and paint from a young age. Throughout my primary education I participated in various art classes and competitions. Using the skills I acquired from the family bakery business, I worked my way through college as a cake decorator. While in college, I began studying biology but eventually decided I'd only be happy with a creative career in the arts and I changed my major to fine arts and then, finally, to graphic design.
In 2003, shortly before graduating from Florida Atlantic University and with the recommendation from my professor, I began my career designing for a woman's hand bag company. While there I not only created various design pieces but was able to use my drawing skills to design handbags and fabric patterns. As my career proceeded I began freelancing while working for a non-profit organization as well as a top notch PR and marketing agency. I've been practicing graphic design for 14 years now and am currently freelancing in Winston-Salem, NC where I live with my amazing husband and beautiful young daughter and darling baby boy.
My enthusiasm for hard work and a challenge, combined with research and creative talent, allows me to deliver unique and accurate results. I am fortunate to have the ability to work at what I love: art and design.
